Is there anything Betty White can't do? After a career filled with movie and sitcom successes, the 89-year-old actress is about to make her first foray into reality TV.
NBC announced Thursday that the Golden Girl will host Betty White's Off Their Rockers, a brand new hidden-camera show, in which seven senior citizens join with White to prank "the unsuspecting youth of America."
So it's like Punk'd but with grandmas and grandpas pulling fast ones on all the young whippersnappers -- how fun does that sound?!
"People have been telling me that I'm 'off my rocker' for years -- now I can prove it," White joked in a statement.
The network has ordered 12 episodes of the new series, but no premiere date has been announced.
White's been super busy as of late: She killed it as host of Saturday Night Live, winning an Emmy for her appearance; her TV Land sitcom Hot in Cleveland just got picked up for a third season; and her book, If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Won't), is set for release this May.
In our opinion, the last thing this world needs is another reality show. But with White's spot-on humor and likability -- and this original concept -- it sounds like Off Their Rockers will be a winner!
