Bad Week for Celebrity Driving

It has been one horrible week for celebrity drivers. Two major wrecks in the last several days have led to hospital stints, and even DUI investigations. It seems like at least a few times a month I shake my head and wonder why all celebrities don?t simply hire permanent drivers. The motorized mayhem began last week when WWE star Shane Helms, who goes by The Hurricane in the ring, was in a nasty motorcycle accident with his girlfriend in tow. TMZ posted the pictures of the guy?s smashed up face, alongside his girlfriend who was sporting a neck brace. Ouch. He looked far worse than he ever has after getting pummeled in the ring. What?s worse, a witness reported that the wrestler was drinking before hand. The wreck sounds really sketchy. Yet another witness says he just plowed through an intersection right before taking out a chain link fence. We won?t know until blood tests are returned whether or not he was drunk. Either way he has some broken bones that need to heal. Higher up on the celebrity totem pole is soccer great David Beckham, who managed to rear-end a broken down car on the freeway on Mother?s Day.
